Transitions remain smooth, and you can continue seeing high-resolution images from your holidays and parties without having to wait for them to load. Since the program also supports a range of file formats, you won’t have any trouble when trying to view photographs taken from different devices.

Clean and simple interface

Once the HoneyView download is complete, it’ll get installed on your computer within minutes. On launching the program, you’ll come across a window with a range of features. The main toolbar located at the top lets you switch between different viewing modes, so you can choose to either display the image in full screen or start a slideshow by selecting the effects and duration.

This section also consists of editing tools that you can use to rotate or resize the image visible on the screen. You can even copy the image to the clipboard, open it on your desktop’s primary image editor, convert the picture, or set it as the wallpaper. The drop-down menu also comes with a lock and bookmark option, using which you can lock the menu or bookmark your favorite images so you can easily access them later.

Intuitive user experience

The HoneyView app works with your desktop’s mouse. However, you can add keyboard shortcuts to the program in case you prefer the latter. When using your mouse, you can browse through images quickly and even jump ten pictures ahead with a single click. Similarly, you can use the device to zoom in, slide to another collection, rotate photographs, and lock controls if necessary.

Moreover, the program lets you hide or display the complete information of any image. If you enable the EXIF data visibility, you can get details on the model of the camera, GPS information, and any other information that is part of the photograph. With the help of this information, you can easily jump to Google Maps and open the location for a more immersive storytelling experience.

I wasn't able to associate the viewer with files in Windows 10. The app wasn't even listed as an option. Also, the UI feels clunky to me.
